Reaffirming Africa’s Commitment to Immunization
We, the African Union (AU) Ministers of Health meeting during the High Level side event at the AU summit on Immunization: Reaffirming Africa’s Commitment to Immunization on 16th February 2025, in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, considered and adopted the actions here under as Africa’s leaders, policymakers, because it is imperative to take decisive steps to accelerate immunization coverage and ensure that every African has access to life-saving vaccines.
Building Strong Partnership for Inclusive Childcare in Africa
We, the Ministers responsible for Childcare of the African Union (AU) Member States, Development partners and Civil Society Organisations, convened at the Africa Conference on Childcare, held from 18th – 20th June, 2025 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to build partnership and commitment for Accelerating Actions Towards Quality and Inclusive childcare in Africa.
2024 Pan African Youth Forum Declaration
WHEREAS we, the youth of Africa, gathered at the 4th Pan African Youth Forum (PAYF), held from November 1 to 4, 2024, in Oran, Algeria, under the High Patronage of the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, H.E.M. Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, the auspices of the African Union Commission (AUC) and hosted by the Algerian Government through the Higher Council of Youth of Algeria, which is a consultative body for the President of the Republic, endowed with moral personality and financial independence.
